Zoeller Pump Company’s 540 Flex® backup pump is a high-performance water-powered system that effortlessly takes over when your primary pump fails or is unusable. With convenient horizontal or vertical installation in the rafters and a push-to-connect fitting, this product maintains a safe water line and offers the reassurance of a protected home.
These nonelectric sump pump backups use a 1 1/4-inch suction pipe to create enough pressure to force water through a 1 1/2-inch discharge pipe, moving water outside the home. They are battery-less backup systems that use the pressure from the municipal water supply. Doing this allows the pump to expel two gallons for every gallon used.
