Vintage Wooden Figurine With Gold Leaf
*NOTE: I obtained this item in an auction many years ago and do not know any of its history or origin beyond that. I am not an expert on items such as this and am only giving a description to the best of my ability as it appears to me.
- hand carved solid wood from at least 3 separate pieces of wood attached together
- decorated with small cut pieces of glass and mirror
- doesn’t appear to be gold paint to me; I’m thinking possible gold leaf? On the picture of the bottom, you can kind of see some of it flaking off
- no cracks or damage to the wood
All in all, a gorgeous vintage piece that would look amazing on display!
