Karl Luckhardt (1886-1970)
The story behind this painting from a son.
This painting was owned by family back in Germany before the Holocaust. When the Holocaust happened all family members were killed except 1 female of the family that survived. When she came to America she lost all contents of the paintings and more. It took years for the family to find these paintings that were owned by her family. When found it was given back to their mother (original family member survivor). It was recently sold at Estate Sale which the son giving us the family story behind it.
It's in good conditions for surviving the WWII, Holocaust and making it to USA after so many years.
