Authentic 1920s Art Deco / Flapper era evening purse in stunning ombré painted metal mesh. Shades beautifully from warm bronze-gold at the top to gunmetal black at the long fringe a classic Roaring 20s look! Ornate engraved gilt frame with push-clasp closure and original finger chain. Interior is lined in beige silk/rayon (some light age spots, no rips). Mesh is fully intact, no broken links, fringe in excellent shape with only minor paint wear typical for 100 years old. Measures approx 8 wide at frame, drops 1820 with fringe. Iconic Whiting & Davis / Mandalian style (unsigned but identical quality). Perfect Gatsby party bag or display piece. Smoke-free home.
