Vintage Nightmare Before Christmas / Lock, Shock & Barrel Mini Backpack (Applause, 1993)
Backpack comes with the original tag! + plastic Sally book mark from 93’.
Originally purchased at the now closed San Francisco FAO Schwaz Toy Store by myself in 1993, not long after the movie was released.
Vintage Mini Backpack. This was part of the first line of the official merchandise by Applause for Disney. Tim Burton worked with Disney who helped develop the film, but released it through Touchstone Pictures because they considered the film to be “too dark and scary” to be an official Disney film for kids.
CONDITION: Vintage, with some average wear after all this time. Both of the zippers open and close perfectly. Zipper clasps show some of the original black paint worn off. Light wear to the graphic of Lock, Shock & Barrel on the small pouch. No tears, holes to the body of the backpack or the front pocket etc.
