Historical Significance: The Heart of Mount St. Agnes
McAuley Hall is the most iconic and historically central building of the former Mount St. Agnes College (MSA) in Baltimore, Maryland.
Namesake: The hall is named for Mother Mary Catherine McAuley, the Irish nun who founded the Sisters of Mercy in 1831. The Sisters of Mercy established and operated Mount St. Agnes College.
