This modular pole contains 9 separate sections, 8 of which have swaged ends to connect together with ease. The straight section forms the top piece, and you can use all elements together for a generous martin house or flag pole, or just a few for use with a different bird house or feeder. Top the pole with the sturdy, powder coated steel pulley wheel and feed the included, 20' nylon rope through it to easily raise and lower your martin house for regular maintenance. This robust, steel wheel ensures smooth movement and rust resistance for seasons of service with a higher weight capacity than similar poles, and its extended sides cover the opening atop your existing martin house roof. A matching, powder coated rope cleat can be affixed to the pole using the included screws, readily holding the remainder of the rope securely in place. Concrete one of the pole sections in soil to act as an anchor, or use a ground sleeve (not included) for more versatility.
