Johnson Brothers “Old Britain Castles” Made in England Vintage Set of Four Dinner Plates, Three Cake Plates, and one Saucer. One dinner plate is chipped on the back, not affecting eating surface or design. Porcelain bits will be included if you are capable of repairing. Otherwise, the dishes are very clean and vivid and in excellent condition.

These were bought new with a larger set in 1992 from the Broadway department store in West Covina, California. Remainder of set has been lost to attrition over the years. There is a small possibility other components may be found before sale but this is unlikely. From memory, it was a service for four with dinner plates, cake plates, bowls, teacups, and saucers. Never were any serving items, salad plates, or rimmed soup chargers.
