BUMFUZZLE is the mind-muddling mischief-making game of colour confusion. It has been cunningly created to confuse even the cleverest brain. Say the word, or say the colour, but never ever say BUMFUZZLE! In this confusing game of quick thinking, you need to keep your wits about you! HOW TO PLAY: Shuffle the cards and deal them, face down, equally between all players. The oldest player goes first, turning over the card from the top of their pile, without looking, and placing it face up in the middle of the table. This card determines what all players must then do - say the colour of the word, read the word or stand up. BLUE background - Say the colour of the word GREEN or RED background - Read the word BUT! Don't ever (that's NEVER) say the word BUMFUZZLE! If you see BUMFUZZLE on a green or red background, simply stand up.silently! The first player to respond correctly to the card then turns over their top card and places it face up on the pile in the middle of the table. Play continues with all players racing to be first to react correctly to the card in play. If a player makes a mistake (and they will), they pick up all the cards from the middle of the table. The losing player then continues the game by placing their top card face up in the centre. The first player to get rid of all their cards wins. Sounds simple? Bumfuzzle is based on a psychological phenomenon called the Stroop effect. Your brain may well not behave as you expect - resulting in delayed responses, utter confusion, general randomness, and a whole lot of head-spinning hilarity! Put your brain to the test against your family and friends to find out who can keep their cool in this laugh out loud game!
