This gorgeous jewelry set dates from about 1960 and belonged to my grandmother. One owner.
By Vendome, complete set of mid-century modern triple strand necklace and matching earrings. The necklace has four graduating length strands of AB Aurora Borealis clear crystal faceted beads, large white faux pearls with yellow gold ornate bead caps, and white milk glass molded floral beads. Beaded slide/clip clasp at the back. The earrings are adjustable clip style with a 3D arrangement of matching floral milk glass beads with a central faux pearl and faceted AB glass beads. Vendome signature on each clip mechanism.
Necklace: measures 14 inches at its smallest circumference, 19 inches at its largest
Earrings: measure 1 inch diameter
All the gold plating is bright and not faded/worn, pearls are pristine. The only flaw I saw was a tiny rhinestone missing on the clasp as shown. Stored in a cloth in a drawer for over 50 years. Very rare indeed, as I have not found any comps for this.
